Foreign Trade Documentation

Several countries require for documents to be legalized and rectified. The Chamber of Commerce certification of international documents is validated by the consulate and other diplomatic representations of the country.


A recognition of the Chamber of Commerce means the verification of the contents and the acknowledgment of the existence of the document. The Chamber of Commerce requires that the contents of documents are verified to ensure that the information contained is accurate.


The Chamber of Commerce is entitled to issue and endorse the following documents required for exportations:

  • ATA Carnet – International Customs Document
  • European Community General Certificate of Origen
  • Invoices
  • Recommendations for Export Companies
  • Force majeure – Certificates

E-Export Documents

The Chamber of Commerce uses the e-Export Documentation Service, through which customers can apply for confirmation of Certificates of Origin and other documents electronically. Registration for the mentioned services can be done at the following page: https://www.e-vientiasiakirjat.fi/en

Please note that the Certificates of Origin applied through electronical means are approved manually and may take some time to be process. Therefore, it is advised to apply for the documents process and approval in advance. If you need a stamp from the office, you should schedule a suitable time via e-mail.
