Committees

The advocacy work is carried out in the seven Committees of the Chamber of Commerce, which include 120 experts in their field from member firms. Stakeholders in the Chamber of Commerce are key players. The views of industry gathered in the committees are passed on to municipalities, provincial and state decision-makers and authorities.

The committees gather 3-4 times a year. Each meeting has its own theme. In addition, almost without exception, the meetings are hosted by a local company or organizations. Committees also serve as a platform for business-to-business networking and cooperation, for example between companies in a particular industry or a group of professionals.

The committees are subject to annual voting and selection on Autumn during a meeting.
